Key product features
The hinged flap lid box consists of two parts. The base is glued to a lid. The boxes are made using grooved cardboard technology so that the base fits perfectly to the lid and the lid itself has nice, sharp edges on the outside.
The lid of the box can be composed of a different number of segments.
The simplest lid usually consists of 3 parts. Each part is covered with a binding and a lining paper. The binding paper represents the outer part, which is larger than the cardboard and whose edges overlap to the other side. The lining paper is 2-5 mm smaller than the cardboard and covers the edges of the binding paper.
The boxes can be decorated with fine materials (decorative papers),
- printed binding paper, often finished with foil laminates or UV varnish
- plain paper
- closable by a magnet
